Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos: Summer Gala Lovers : Hitting the town for a special night out, Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos attended the 10th Annual Trevor New York Summer Gala in New York City on Monday night (June 28).
The talk show host and her soap opera actor hubby looked gorgeous as they made their way down the red carpet, smiling happily for the snapping shutterbugs.
Talking to press before heading inside for the gay youth crisis prevention benefit, Kelly opened up about what it’s like raising their teenage son.
She told People magazine, "I read all of these books on teenagers, and they tell you all these things that are going to happen, and it all happened."
Ripa continued, "They become surly. They lock themselves in their room. Everything [the parents] do is embarrassing,” adding with a laugh, she said, "I keep telling him, 'As far as parents go, we're the bomb! The coolest parents ever!'”
